There’s no place quite like Rio de Janeiro and for the Giacom team, October 2025 was a dazzling celebration of achievement, culture, and camaraderie in one of the world’s most exhilarating cities. From the moment we touched down in Brazil, the adventure began. Here’s a look back at their itinerary for an unforgettable five-day journey through the heart of Rio.
The Solution
Day 1: Arrival & Bay Views
After a smooth overnight flight from London Heathrow, our group was greeted by bilingual guides and whisked away to Marina da Glória for a refreshing boat tour of Guanabara Bay. With panoramic views of Rio’s skyline and Sugarloaf Mountain, it was the perfect way to unwind after travel. Lunch at Corrientes Steakhouse followed, featuring a mouthwatering spread of grilled meats, empanadas, and Brazilian sides. After checking in at the elegant Miramar by Windsor, we enjoyed some leisure time before heading to Sel D’Ipanema Beach Club for a beachfront dinner with contemporary cuisine and samba vibes.
Day 2: Jeep Adventures & Mountain Dining
We kicked off the day with a thrilling open-air Jeep tour through Tijuca National Park, culminating in a visit to the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue. The lush greenery and sweeping views were nothing short of breathtaking. Lunch at Território Aprazível in Santa Teresa offered a cozy, mountaintop retreat with refined Brazilian dishes and a terrace view that felt like a dream. The evening brought us to Assador Rios, where we indulged in a full Brazilian BBQ rodizio experience, an absolute highlight for meat lovers.
Day 3: Beach Life & Bar Rally Fun
Friday was all about embracing Rio’s beach culture. We started with a guided walk to Copacabana Beach, complete with a private setup of chairs, umbrellas, and refreshments. A stand-up paddleboarding class added a splash of adventure.
Later, we biked along the scenic coastline to Classico Lagoa, a serene lunch spot by the lagoon. The afternoon brought a playful twist with a Bar Rally Challenge in vintage Kombi vans; three stops, three drinks, and plenty of laughs. Dinner and dancing at Rio Scenarium, a vibrant samba venue in Lapa, capped off the day with rhythm, color, and joy.
Day 4: Sky-High Views & Samba Beats
Saturday began with a visit to Sugarloaf Mountain, where we ascended via cable car and took to the skies in a helicopter tour over Rio’s beaches and landmarks. The views were simply unforgettable. Lunch at Deseo offered Mediterranean flavors with a Brazilian twist, followed by a lively samba school workshop offering a hands-on dive into the heartbeat of Rio’s Carnival spirit. Dinner at Escama Restaurant was a culinary journey through seafood and seasonal delights, served in a chic, modern setting.
Day 5: Farewell, Rio
After a final breakfast and some time to relax, the group checked out and headed to the airport, hearts full and spirits high. Lounge access and a smooth flight home wrapped up the trip in style.
