CloudClevr Budapest Incentive Trip
Client: CloudClevr
Venue: W Budapest
Location: Budapest, Hungary
Objective
From Friday, November 7th, to Sunday, November 9th, 2025, we packed our bags and accompanied an Incentive group heading to the Pearl of the Danube, staying right in the heart of the city at the gorgeous W Budapest. The aim of the trip? To reward the internal team with a short-haul Incentive travel trip that encompassed culture, great food, cost effective elements and collaborative external activities. Here’s a look at how they spent their unforgettable weekend.
The Solution
Day 1: Arriving and Exploring the Heart of Pest
We arrived at London Gatwick just after 4am for an early flight allowing the group to be touching down in Budapest before 10 AM. With a pre-arranged luxury private transfer to get from the airport to the W Budapest smoothly, dropped off luggage, and were immediately ready to hit the streets. Our first meal set a high standard: lunch at the beautiful Central Grand Café and Restaurant. It was the perfect historic setting to unwind after the early travel. The group were even serenaded by a violinist! We then had a couple of hours to wander around exploring the city before officially checking into the hotel at 3PM. After some time relaxing after their early start it was time for dinner, we took a short walk to Twentysix Budapest, a really cool spot that felt like dining inside a massive greenhouse. The food was fantastic, and it was a great way to celebrate the first night in the city. Early nights all around tonight, to catch up on those airport hours.
Day 2: Monster Rollers and Castle Secrets
Day two was definitely the most action-packed! After breakfast at the W, we walked over to Mácius Square to partake in a truly unique way to see the city: the Monsteroller Tour. Forget boring bus tours, zipping past iconic spots like the Parliament, St Stephen Basilica, and Heroes’ Square on what are effectively big seated scooters was such a blast and a brilliant way to cover so much ground in two hours. The gang recharged with a delicious Hungarian lunch at Urbán Betyár Restaurant, which was a traditional Hungarian venue even boasting a museum on the way to the toilets! In the afternoon, we switched gears for some history with a “Secrets of the Castle District” walking tour. The views from Buda Castle were absolutely breathtaking, especially as the sun started to lower. The evening finished on a high note (literally!). We jumped on the historic Millenium Underground to get to St. Andrea Wine & Skybar for dinner. Sipping on fizz, or cocktails, and enjoying Michelin dining while overlooking the illuminated city…pure magic! The group then took the change to experience some Budapest nightlift and headed to Gozsdu Udvar area to see in the small hours with some karaoke!
Day 3: Thermal Bliss and Farewell
The morning after the night before, the group enjoyed a hearty breakfast at the W Hotel before checking out (leaving our luggage safely stored), to take a short ride on the Millenium Underground straight to Széchenyi Bath for the “Day Palm, Chill Experience” for the group to chill together after a busy few days was the perfect way to relax and soak away any lingering hangovers. If you go to Budapest, this is a non-negotiable must-do! We had a lovely final lunch at Millenium Café, within the park, then took one last Underground ride back to the W to collect our bags and do any final souvenier shopping. Our transfer was scheduled for the evening, giving us plenty of time to get to the airport for our flight back to London Gatwick.
It was an incredible weekend, meticulously planned by the Red Blaze Team, full of fun and unforgettable moments. Budapest is officially high on our list of favourite European destinations!
