The Solution

When a client comes to you with a vision to mix an important business event with the ability for them to celebrate their milestone business birthday by DJing at an iconic venue, we love to get stuck in bringing the bespoke event to life! In November this year Red Blaze did just that as they assisted Kid-A in successfully transforming the infamous Fabric nightclub space into a dual-purpose venue, hosting two distinct yet complementary events in a single day. We have a fantastic working relationship with Kid-A who are an award-winning disruptive consultancy & managed services business working within the telecommunications sector, and the first consultancy business to be fully B Corp™ certified.

The first event of the day took place in the afternoon where we hosted the third edition of their industry-focused Pale Blue Dot sustainability conference, leveraging the venue’s infrastructure for a high-level academic and professional audience. After an hour of networking between the delegates, the evening seamlessly transitioned into a high-energy celebration for Kid-A’s 6th Birthday, solidifying the brand’s personality within the industry as forward thinking and above all, FUN!

We kicked off the event precisely at noon, welcoming over 163 industry professionals eager to engage with the sustainability advocates. The atmosphere was immediately engaging and productive, helped along by the simple but effective welcome of great coffee and delicious pastries; it set a focused, yet relaxed, tone for everyone involved. Hosting the event in the iconic Fabric Room 1 allowed the perfect backdrop for the content, which felt incredibly powerful and direct. We had a brilliant lineup, including keynote speeches from figures like Don Letts, alongside deeply insightful panel discussions and essential sessions on topics like ‘Circularity by Design’. The goal was clear: to reinforce the crucial responsibility we all share in building a sustainable future.

Once the formal sessions wrapped up, we transitioned into the Sunken Bar for a networking hour which was sponsored by Vodafone. This was a fantastic chance for attendees to connect one-on-one, and we made sure the vibe was perfect with glasses of refreshing fizz, cold beers and an impressive spread of high-quality Mexican street food. It was the perfect way to keep those professional conversations flowing in a casual, high-energy environment.

Finally, the night shifted gears entirely as we moved to Room 3 to celebrate a huge milestone for Kid-A! We threw a proper birthday rave featuring a stellar selection of special guest DJs. The dancefloor was absolutely buzzing, especially when Huxley headlined with his signature sound. To wrap things up on a personal note, Kid-A’s own Andy and Dave took to the decks, ensuring the energy was sky-high until the very end. It was the perfect send-off, concluding a memorable and highly productive day of conferencing and celebration right up until 1:00 AM.

Kid-A’s event at Fabric was a resounding success, demonstrating some great logistical planning and venue versatility through the ability to change surroundings throughout the day to bring different vibes consistently. By successfully hosting a rigorous daytime conference and an energetic branded evening celebration in the same location, Red Blaze helped Kid-A to effectively maximise the venue’s potential and reinforced its reputation as a dynamic and influential force within the industry. The high attendance and positive feedback from both sets of guests confirm the event’s powerful impact. Roll on our next project together!
