An exquisite two-day, activity-filled corporate retreat in Italy

Objective
Our task was to deliver a two-day corporate retreat in Europe, in a unique location that included meeting spaces, team-building activities, and gala dinners.
The Solution
Recently, we had the pleasure of organising a two-day corporate event in Italy. The event saw the participation of 20 delegates from five different countries, who took part in meetings and engaging team-building activities.
Delegates from around the globe experienced the luxurious hospitality of Grotta Guisti, a stunning spa hotel in Tuscany that is both a marvel of nature and a testament to remarkable architecture.
Our clients were transported from Florence airport to Grotta Guisti, where they were immersed in the delightful food, atmosphere, and relaxed ambiance. Upon arrival, guests were greeted with a welcome drink and some nibbles, before checking into their beautiful hotel rooms. A personalised cocktail masterclass, arranged by the barman at the Grotta, followed this. The day culminated with a dinner featuring a beautiful Italian-style meal perfectly paired with fantastic Italian wines.
The second day began with a hearty Italian breakfast, followed by meetings, a fabulous buffet lunch, and a team-building activity. The highlight of the day was a vintage car tour, which took the delegates through the picturesque streets of Massarella, Fucecchio, and San Miniato in a luxury vintage automobile.
While the first group embarked on the vintage car tour, the second group stayed back, making the most of the Grotto’s thermal spa. Grotta Giusti is Europe’s largest natural thermal grotto, a millenary cave that remains intact and breathtaking, extending over two hundred metres beneath the resort. This natural paradise offers temperatures ranging from 28°C to 34°C. The delegates greatly enjoyed the therapeutic benefits of the steam released by their thermal spa baths.
The delegates indulged their senses in the extraordinary flavours and traditions of Italy, ending the night with a four-course gala dinner and wine pairing, expertly curated by the in-house sommelier.
On the final day, the delegates began with a delightful Italian breakfast. This was followed by a productive half-day meeting, punctuated with snacks and a period of relaxation afterwards. The event concluded with organised transfers back to the airport.
