This conference event would be an opportunity to bring 40 SAP key partners together to share plans for the future and re-open the dialogue for building opportunities for collaboration.
The SAP Global Partner event was initially planned for Spring 2020, but it was postponed three times because of Covid. Thankfully, due to travel restrictions lifting, we could go ahead with the event in October 2021.
The Riviera Maya, Mexico, was an obvious choice because it is a central location and easily accessible for the delegates travelling from North and South America and Europe. We chose the Andaz Mayakoba Resort as the backdrop of this conference, and it did not disappoint. The resort is positioned on the coastline of the Mexican Caribbean, surrounded by nature, and provides a stunning venue to hold this important first gathering since the pandemic.
Day 1 of the 4-day event began with a Red Blaze VIP meet and greet at the airport arrivals hall, luxury transfers to the hotel, and a networking welcome dinner. The next few days consisted of high-level meetings with breakout sessions and a gala dinner held in our guests’ honour celebrating traditional Mexican culture. There was an authentic pre-Hispanic show, followed by the fun of a local Mariachi band and a menu of the exquisite local fayre, all whilst taking in the magnificent views of the ocean.
Red Blaze worked with local partners and the hotel to create an inventive and unforgettable conference. There were operational restrictions relating to Covid, and the delegates were required to complete pre-departure PCR tests before travelling. However, we were able to navigate our client around these minor complications and ensure the event went ahead without a hitch.
