Objective

Our task was to execute a top performer awards incentive trip in a unique location, which included an Oscar-style awards ceremony.

The Solution

We recently had the pleasure of organising a four-day incentive programme for one of our long-standing clients. This programme represents the highest level of recognition within the company. This global annual incentive recognises the top performers who have made outstanding achievements during the year and exemplify the company’s values.

The location was Sorrento, one of Italy’s most famous resort towns, brimming with lemon trees and dramatic cliffs. Welcoming top performers from around the globe, our guests were treated to the exceptional hospitality of the Hilton Sorrento Palace. Overlooking the coastline, the renowned Hilton Sorrento Palace offers magical views of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius.

Upon arrival at Naples airport, guests were welcomed by the event team and chauffeured to the Hilton Sorrento. They had time to enjoy the hotel facilities before freshening up for the welcome dinner and drinks at the Hilton’s prestigious rooftop restaurant.

After meeting and reconnecting with their colleagues, the guests retired to their accommodation, admiring the breathtaking views of Sorrento.

The following morning, guests enjoyed a private breakfast in the Citrus Gardens followed by a cruise of the Sorrento and Capri coastline, taking in the spectacular views of the rugged landscape. A guided walking tour of the city was next, with some free time to explore and discover the beautiful buildings and quaint streets of Capri. Guests savoured the flavours of traditional cuisine at Ristorante al Capri, while enjoying panoramic views of the sea and mainland.

The prestigious Oscar-style awards dinner was held at Villa Antiche Mura, where top performers were recognised for their outstanding achievements.

As giving back to the community is a crucial part of the programme, the guests supported ALMA, an organisation that provides several services to children and young adults with major mental, motorial and health issues. The guests had a wonderful opportunity to interact and work alongside these young adults, enhancing and transforming their facilities, which continue to provide them with the skills and social interaction needed to improve self-esteem and sense of value within the community.

Guests spent their leisure time dining at one of Sorrento’s local restaurants, experiencing the cuisine of the region.

After a delightful breakfast, guests spent the morning participating in one of the pre-selected activities. From stand-up paddleboarding, bike tours, hiking, wine tasting, visits to Pompeii, Amalfi tours, to Limoncello tasting, there was an activity for everyone to enjoy.

The farewell dinner party was held at Tasso Restaurant, in the heart of Old Town. Guests were welcomed by traditional Italian singers and dancers, bringing the night to life! The atmosphere was electric, making it a truly memorable night for all involved.

Guests enjoyed a private breakfast in the citrus gardens before departing throughout the day.
