Overview

The client wanted to reward their top performers with an incentive travel reward programme that felt aspirational, immersive and genuinely memorable. The objective was to combine premium accommodation, iconic destinations and unforgettable winter experiences, while delivering a seamless programme that balanced celebration, discovery and relaxation.

Red Blaze designed and delivered a multi destination incentive that showcased two of Canada’s most impressive locations. From the vibrant cityscape of Vancouver to the dramatic mountain scenery of Whistler, the programme delivered variety, adventure and moments of shared celebration, all underpinned by meticulous planning and flawless delivery.

Travel and Arrival Experience

Guests departed London Heathrow on 28 January, flying with British Airways. The direct service provided a comfortable and efficient start to the journey, allowing guests to arrive in Vancouver ready to engage from the outset.

On arrival, a dedicated meet and greet service ensured a warm and effortless welcome. The sense of arrival was enhanced with a distinctly Canadian experience, featuring a traditional Mountie greeting alongside a husky dog, immediately immersing guests in the spirit of the destination.

That evening, the group enjoyed exclusive use of the Giovane Restaurant at the Fairmont Pacific Rim. A relaxed supper buffet allowed guests to unwind after their journey, reconnect with peers and begin the incentive in a sociable and informal atmosphere.

Vancouver Accommodation and Programme

The group stayed at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, a landmark property located in the very heart of downtown. Opened in 1939, the four diamond hotel is rich in history while offering modern elegance and outstanding facilities. Guests enjoyed access to the Absolute Spa, a fully equipped health club, award winning dining and a prime central location.

Saturday’s programme combined business, culture and seasonal experiences. Guests travelled up Grouse Mountain via the Superskyride aerial tramway to the spectacular summit. A business meeting was hosted in this inspiring setting, reinforcing key messages while surrounded by sweeping alpine views.

Following the meeting, lunch on the mountain was accompanied by mulled wine and hot apple cider, setting a relaxed tone for the afternoon. Guests then enjoyed classic winter activities including sleigh rides and ice skating before returning to the city.

Later that day, the group visited the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Treetops Adventure. Suspended high above the forest floor, the experience delivered both excitement and a powerful connection to the surrounding rainforest environment.

The day concluded with a farewell dinner in Vancouver at Bridges on Granville Island, offering a beautiful waterfront setting to reflect on the city element of the programme.

Transition to Whistler

Sunday morning began with a guided Vancouver orientation tour, giving guests time to explore key areas of the city and enjoy some retail therapy before departing for Whistler.

Late morning, the group travelled along the world famous Sea to Sky Highway. The journey itself became a standout experience, with breathtaking views of coastal fjords, waterfalls and mountain landscapes punctuating the drive.

On arrival in Whistler, lunch was served at the Brewhouse, followed by check in at the Four Seasons Resort Whistler. Nestled at the base of the mountains, the hotel provided a luxurious and peaceful retreat with exceptional service and facilities.

That afternoon, guests took part in a twilight snowmobiling adventure. Guided through forested trails as daylight faded, the experience delivered an exhilarating sense of speed and exploration against a stunning alpine backdrop. Dinner was hosted at the Four Seasons that evening, allowing guests to relax and share stories from the day.

Choice and Celebration in Whistler

Monday was designed as a flexible activity day, allowing guests to tailor their experience to personal interests. Options included skiing, zip trekking through ancient forest, snow limo adventures, dog sledding, spa time or the opportunity to tackle the Olympic bobsleigh. Lunch was taken at leisure using a cash allowance, encouraging independence and exploration.

The incentive concluded on Tuesday with a farewell lunch high on Whistler Mountain at Steeps Restaurant. Guests enjoyed a sightseeing lift pass including the Peak Chair and Peak to Peak Gondola, exclusive use of the restaurant and time to take in the panoramic views. A final photographic opportunity marked the close of an unforgettable programme before departure for the evening British Airways flight home.
